I have really neglected my blog the past 2 weeks.

Do you ever get really bad news about a friend who you've had a "falling out" with? I had a dear friend, who I just found out has terminal cancer. One day she was in the hospital due to a double ear infection and a sinus infection and the next day she is told she only has weeks to live. I will admit, this has really hit me hard. Never has anyone "close" to me been consumed by cancer. We hadn't talked in several years and now when I look back at why we originally had gotten into an argument, it seems quite silly.

I went to see her last week and it broke my heart. She seemed so helpless, in so much pain, and I wanted nothing more then to tell her it was going to be OK. She was going to be OK. But of course, I couldn't tell her that.

Please pray for her, I am choosing to keep her name confidential to give the family privacy. I will tell you she has a husband, a son, and a lot of people who care about her.

On a different note, I actually scrapped! Seems like there was a long stretch where I was not able to get into my scrapbook room. It feels good to actually get something accomplished! These layouts are for CMK, our May sponsor is
Inque Boutique stamps. These are WONDERFUL!!!!

And look what little Miss Chloe has been up to....

I also have several Pink Paislee layouts to share:

Pink Paislee's new release will be debuted in the beginning of July. You will want to stay tuned because they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

I also did an on-line mini class for Mosh Posh. Here is the album cover:

I had so much fun doing this and I hope Kristen offers more things like this in the future.

I hope you all have a lovely week!

Oh gosh, Tina, i'm so sorry to hear about your friend! I think those kinds of things really put the smaller stuff into perspective and make fights and disagreements seem so insignificant, you know? I'm sure she really appreciated you coming to see her! On a happier note, I LOVE what you did with those IB stamps! Gorgeous! The PP LO's are awesome, as well! I have a Chloe, too :-)

What happened to poor Chloe? Taylor had a big rash on her face this week, and I had no idea what it was until her teacher wrote me a note that it was Fifth's Disease! Eeek!

So sorry about your friend, Tina. I agree with Staci..I think God does this to put things into perspective in our lives and really make us appreciate what we have, ya know? Big hugs!

Love your layouts too. You have such a gorgeous style, girl!!!
