Well, the big call for the CK Idea Annual book has come and gone. I had high hopes for some of my layouts. CK just doesn't like me for some reason, seriously! Just can't get my foot through the door darn it! But I just keep plugging away. Sometimes I think it is fun to have the suspense and see all the fun toots throughout the day. I'm truly happy for all my talented friends :) I think there needs to be more magazines in circulation so I can up my chances, haha!!! Oh well, what am I doing tonight? Probably submitting more work ;)
We're leaving for Colorado soon. I hate last minute details. I have high anxiety as it is and I'm always afraid I'm going to forget something and what not. I wish I could just CHILL OUT for a minute...but I know that won't happen! I know I will have some awesome pictures to post on my blog when I get back. So keep checkin'!
And I will end on a Chloe note :) Love this dear child SO much! But she has resorted to biting and pinching when she is a). tired b). sick of the girls being in her face and c). if she is not getting her way. The entire family has bite marks on their bodies. Not pretty!!!

I'm so with you on the CK deal. I just don't get it. I see my designs and know they're a good fit, I see other's work that is so deserving, but wasn't chosen. I simply don't get it. I too am happy for my friends who were chosen; it's bittersweet, this feeling today.
So Chloe is biting huh? Funny, I'm the 3rd of three girls in my family and I'm told that I use to bite my sisters too. :) Wish I had an answer for you. I always tease my sisters now that they probably deserved to be bitten. Okay, so probably not, but it's fun to tease them now! :)
Hang in there planning your vacation. It'll all be worth it! You're going to God's country afterall! :)

I totally hear you on the CK submitting. Sometimes I wonder why I continue to submit to them. Hope you have an awesome trip to Colorado and I really hope Chloe chills with the biting!!!
Tina I think your scrapping totally rocks. Don't worry about those silly ol mags! We all love seeing your work on-line. Now, I'm not going to start sending you money, but I appreciate you.
I love your work, and get equally as much inpiration from different internetsites and their dt's as I get from magazines! Your time will come, because you're a brilliant scrapbooker.

{{{HUGS}}} I hear ya on not getting anywhere with CK. I'm with Chelsea, I just wonder why I continue to submit. Your work rocks, it's just a matter of time for you. But, your trip is going to be wonderful! Enjoy it! And, bummer about the biting. Hopefully it's just a phase...a short phase! ;)
Tina, I feel your pain!! They don't like me either but I'm persistant and continue to try. I don't think I submitted for the idea book but I do for almost everything else. I just try to keep smiling :)
